Courtney is currently Google’s VP of Retail. She partners with major retail companies to maximize business outcomes and modernize their marketing strategies. She leads a team of more than 500 industry experts and specialists focused on search, video, and programmatic media.
Prior to Retail, Courtney headed Google’s Technology and Services sector, which included a diverse portfolio of clients in higher education, apps, B2B tech, and home services. Before taking on Tech and Services, she led Google's team responsible for public sector partnerships and served on the leadership team that oversaw the Media & Entertainment, CPG, and Automotive verticals. She has seen firsthand how digital transformation can impact everything from public health to product sales. She is passionate about modern marketing to drive business outcomes, and how organizational design can adapt to meet these opportunities. She’s focused on building tech products & policies that responsibly serve users.
Courtney joined Google in 2007 from the Advisory Board Company, now a division of United Healthcare (NASDAQ UNH) where she was associate director for development in the business intelligence technology group. Prior to that she advised domestic and international hospitals on growth strategies and operational best practices, speaking at global conferences and launching new products in the space.
